[TOP] 5 trends I love and will probably never wear

I've been in a relationship with fashion for about 20 years. Along the way I learned that I could love 'her' but sometimes she just couldnt' love me back. What I'm trying to say is that you can love trends but you have to be smart and choose only what suits you and only what compliments your figure. No matter how hard this can be sometimes, we have to be tough! So here are the trends that I kinda love but I'll probably never wear because of various reason: lack of courage and miles long legs and a basic wardrobe that can't match a certain item.
The Maxi skirt. No matter how much I love it, being petite I just have to say NO to this and move one. The classic platonic love.

The cropped top. I just don't feel like doing hundreds of abs per day.

The creepers. I found myself trying on every pair of creepers I found, during the sales. They looked great but I have no idea how to dress the rest of my body. They seem completely different than everything I own.

The Leather Pants. Okay, these are probably the coolest pants right now but they also go to the category 'miles long legs' or 'miles long heels'. Not for me.

Shoes with socks. I know this is still a controversy, you either love it or hate it. I LOVE it. But having a common life with common activites I can't find the proper ocassion and truth to be told the perfect socks to pull this off. Maybe someday...

  1. Cropped shirts can be pulled off with a sleeveless shirt underneath. For me that's the only acceptable way of wearing them. I think I've heard too much critique from my dad in my teenage years that I shouldn't show my belly, that it finally got to me :)

  2. I agree about creepers - what do they work with? However, I think you would probably rock leather pants, with whatever heels and your basic tops :)
