Remember I was telling you about how much I've expected to see colours in the spring collections? Well, guess what? they're all in the fall collections. How can this be? all right, I admit it, I couldn't help myself to take a sneak peak at the new collections and let me tell you....they are pretty awsome!!!! I got this lovely picture from garancedore.fr

celine

I think I'm very into this modern woman that celine brings in the spotlight, the lack of skirts and dresses was really a surprise for me, but the free of movement is priceless nowadays. The clothes, minimalistic as always aren't boring because of the special cuts and small details that bring a certain refinement to the outfit. I  adore the subtle orange insertions here-and-there in the masculin looks.
Is this one great picture or what? I got it from tumblr, but the source is stockholmstreetstyle.feber.se P.s With my stash of posts for blog running out, I will have the hardest mission of all. Work for school and keep the blog updated. And also attend some fairs that I signed up for, with my accesories collection.  So keep your fingers crossed, I'm very determined to realise them all. R

Bottega Veneta

Here is Bottega Veneta for spring 2011, fresh as always. I enjoyed the diversity of clothes and materials and the connection they realised between all kind of looks: rockish, office and casual. I loved the "deux piece" with short pants and also the all-white looks.

extatic

I love commercials. I really do. Especialy the smart ones with good music. When I saw this I sang it all day long. Imagine this: fashion+a really good song. it's a private party sir, do you know what that means? Imagine my reaction when I found out who's song is the one on the commercial: DAFT PUNK. It's called Electroma.

Aquilano Rimondi

Aquilano Rimondi gave me what I expected for the warm season. Colours and prints. I have to say I really like the results, I love the idea of intense colours matched together also prints that apparently don't match. What can I say? I like the unusual combinantions. I want to try this and it will be a great challenge especialy if you're always wearing neutral tones and simple items, like I do. Somehow the collection reminded me of Marni and maybe I didn't say it before, but Marni's style is pure genius to me, I will show you soon what I'm talking about. A bientot, R

trend

Is the maxi skirt a must or we can skip wearing it? Of course, if your silhouette it's fit for this fashion item. I was neutral about maxi skirts but now that I see how great designers have use it for the spring collection, I think I'm into it. Jil Sander brought attention to his beautiful maxi skirts using intense colours and neutral pieces for the tops. I love so much the result, it's basically a very minimalistic look but the result turned out so chic. Fashionistas weren't afraid to try it on, the maxi skirt has this great quality when it's used with the right items it can easily shine on the red carpet as an evening outfit. burberry prorsum

I'm again far behind with the collections. New York fashion week is happening now and the fall collections are now everywhere. Honestly, I really can't think about the next fall when I have an upcoming spring (that I wait more than you can imagine)  to attend. I simply can't watch clothes for winter and autumn. So I'm gonna do it my way.  Here it is Burberry Prorsum, with a kind of autumn look may I say, only the intense colours make me think about spring. It made me think it's probably the time to buy a leather jacket. I don't own any, how strange am I? A mettalic one would be great if I had anything in my wardrobe to match it with. Thumbs up or thumbs down for burberry? A bientot, R

balmain spring 2011

Here is Balmain with the spring collection. I love the items and the woman that they promote even though it isn't me at all. But I love the style. And also the metalic skinny pants. Not to mention the shoes. See, rock girls? You can be a little trashy but still glam at the same time. Watch and learn!

Off Topic

I know maybe this hasn't got anything to do with fashion but it has with art, so it's gonna be published right here. And this also makes me sure I chosed the right path in life. Before: After: Ok, so maybe I wouldn't do it exactly the same, maybe I would add or change some things but seeing this project made me...smile. I got it from: designsponge A bientot, R

Ip

Did you know that Audrey Hepburn had a pet called  Ip? And did you know that Ip was a deer? Was this woman the most stylish woman on Earth or what? Audrey Hepburn shopping with her pet deer “Ip” in Beverly Hills, CA, 1958. I still get the feeling I was born in the wrong decade.

bride of the century

Sketches for Kate Middleton bride's dress: “...In Kate I see the natural, radian t and self -confident attitude of today’s girls. For this, I can’t help but think of an embroi dere d, fluid-silhouette dress in precious fabrics that will help her make an everlasting impression.” — Alberta Ferretti

My oh my!

The spring is almost knocking on our door and I haven't publish any collage with the spring collections. you know what they say: Better late than never. But first things first: I was hoping for colours explosions and nude tones and superflu clothes, comfy and translucide and I have to tell you, I was a little dissapointed. I found many many total black looks, leather, one tone only-outfits. Not my idea of spring at all. But then again: they are the designers, who am I to judge their choices? And then again #2 it's not like I'm always buying designer clothes and this spring I will not have where to spend my money on clothes.
