Cool [fashion] hunting

Yes, I used to write about expensive fashion items that I want. I am running through another phase right now, with brand new priorities. Of course, I'm still in love with the chanel bag, not to mention the vintage kelly one, but  at this moment, I am dreaming of owning some designer pieces of furniture. Even more expensive than my other dream.:)) In this new phase of my life, I am tempted to find and use handmade items, young designers clothes and so on. The first place where I start searching was Breslo, the community of romanian handmade artisans, designers and vintage sellers. So I wish to start a new category of my blog where I'll be presenting you my amazing finds. ;) The first one will be Toot Stuff(Clothing-Jewelry-Bags by Ana Marchetanu), I really felt in love with the  necklaces and I'm even more extatic about the clothes.  Can you guess how much I adore Fendi's palette of colours? I'm telling you: VERY MUCH.  As always, I'm loving the collection and what caught my attention this time was the variety of lenghts. For dresses, skirts and pants. They are promoting almost all of the lenghts and I think it's really great that you can choose what fits you best and still be in trend. The sandals are pretty great too, you may thing they have a regular shape but wait and see: They are interesting, right? I really like when a special kind of beauty gets promoted. And I'm glad that the days when beautiful women were only the ones with long(blonde if possible) hair, big eyes, full lips etc. This doesn't mean I'm gonna go shave my hair off, but it's nice to see we have other options :D. I was a little bit shocked, I must confess, because I found this beauty in a Diddy clip. It reminded me a bit of Kanye's Amber Rose. Anyhow, I loved the way she looks. Bye for now, R

1. This is my favourite photo at the moment and I'm sure it will be for a long time. I found it on my beloved tumblr. 2. Please tell me, What's the deal with wearing two watches at the same time? I've been seeing this "trend" for a year now and I simply don't get it. (It also starts to annoy me). Isn't one watch just enough? I mean, I'm already scared enough with how fast time is passing by, do I need two watches to remind me that? I really want to hear some good reasons for this trend. This gave me the idea of making a list with trends I don't like. And you should try this too.

Last week, while browsing for some inspiration in some architecture magazines, I stumbled upon a fashion article which I really enjoyed, especially because it was such a surprise for me to find it in one of those magazines. I've been hearing a lot about loafers lately so I decided to do some research to see what they really are. So here is what I found: The term of Loafers comes from american culture, at their origin they have a mocassin construction and they were first made in 1930 in Norway, as casual and comfortable shoes. The mocassins began to be exported in the rest of Europe where they also made the first contact with americans, through american tourists visiting Europe. The Americans embracced the style and took it to the next level. In the mid-1950s, further continental influences brought a more elegant image to light, lower-cut slip-ons, which moved from purely casual use to being paired with suits in the 1960s (but still only in America). We all have our own fashion rules, because this one of the fun things about fashion. To play with it, reinvent it and the most important adapt it to yourself. Here are my all time fashion rules, I have some that change from one year to another as my taste in clothes sometimes does. *Note: the fashion rules weren't written in order of their importance, the top is random. :)

I wasn't a big fan of them but somehow I felt the need to see them this spring. I just wanted to see colours and crazy prints everywhere mixed with floral prints and nude tones to cool the atmosphere down. But since the furla bags first made an appereance I have to tell you I'm much more interested in this trend than before. So here is how it goes. I love the trend and I'm ready to embrace it but in my style. only in small details.  The Furla bags are perfection to me, the best match this season: fluo and transparent and so....not right for my everyday bag. Did this happen to you too? Having short hair -bob to be more specific- all your life, making huge efforts to grow it and than one day you realize.....you have long hair. Now what? I simply don't know what to do with it, it seems that nothing works for me. I think I'll chop of my hair soon. Hooray for Alexa Chung, who makes this decission even easier.
