Crush

I've never been a fan of nicole scherzinger's sense of style. Truth to be told, I always considered she looked a little bit kitch. But..in her latest appereance, she really managed to fascinate me. I'm into her latest look and her new  imagine  (back to the roots apparently, reminds me a lot of "don't cha"), more than you can imagine. I believe that her 3 outfits are so well put together starting with the hair that matches the clothes and even the make-up. Perfect balance! I also love how she picked her sources of inspiration, the roles of african beauty and modern pocahontas fit her perfectly. Do you notice something special in this last picture? With my eagle eyes I spotted the proenza schouler bracelets she's wearing (I published one some posts ago) and I managed to find a decent photo to show it to you. I got inspired by her, I'm trying to figure out a role that I could borrow for one day and create an outfit with that role as starting point.

Giambattista Valli

This week was one of the weeks when the word CREATE is all you can think of, when coffee seems more vital than the air and sleep is a blessing. And the worst part is I still have ahead the hardest two weeks of this entire semester. In times like this, I just like to take 2 hours and watch beautiful pictures, search inspiring designers and just take a break from all. A real sight for sore eyes was giambattista valli for spring 2011. When I saw this collection I just thought how much I love when a person looks so neat and comfortable. I then realised that this is also the first thing I look at another person outfit.  The palette of colours looks divine, I love the nude with orange and the little white dressses.(a must in this season, my opinion). I was also glad to see some nice animal print comabinations since it dissapered completely this season and I wasn't prepared at all for this. (i'm crazy about animal print details). And also....Is it just me or the dresses from the

Long time no see

Finally, with some urgent tasks completed for school I started to enjoy summer , the sun, spending time doing nothing and ...writing a post for the lovely blog. another great thing about creating handmade accesories (beside the fact that you can create yourself pretty much everything you see and like) is that you can always find nice people that love your work and are open to swaps. Lately, swaping was one of my main activities and here is what I've gathered so far:

DIY

Yes, I would like to add this category to my blog, I have so many ideas that I wanna share, including some items that are in my shops, but I really don't have that precious time right now. But I stumbled upon a very nice blog ( c lick to check it out) today, full of joy that made me feel somehow optimistic. I found this great and simple DIY that will maybe take you 5-10 minutes. Ready? Fun or what???? Here is the source .

Short Post

I am a fan of Proenza Scouler Neon Bracelet, like all the 1989829098 other fashionistas out there. And I found the perfect match to go with it.

Gwen Stefani at Cannes

Could this woman be more fabolous? I don't know what's her secret but she keeps on being one of my favourite fashionista. Wearing a L.A.M.B dress Wearing Stella McCarnety jumpsuit Wearing A.L.C I got the pictures from style.com Have a great day, R

You have to read this

I have this thing with pants, this spring I just felt the need to make them shorter, I love the undefined length, above the ankles length and I dont know why, but it didn't even occured to me to go shorten them at a tailor. I just rolled them inside. And apparently I'm not the only one!! :)) Please read below this delicious article: < “Ah, yeah, nice. You know what I really like? I like that it doesn’t have jean hem. It’s really cool.” Totally flabbergasted (Is that how you say it or does it sound super stupid?), I say to him : “Ummm… Actually, it’s just a cuff. I rolled it inside. What could be more normal than that?” (Aha! Mr. Sartorialist!) A few days later, I was with my friend Kate at Café Mogador and we spent a half hour talking about her shoes when suddenly she up and says… “And you didn’t even notice… I made a little shout out to you. Look! I made a French Cuff!!!” Totally flabbergasted, the sequel. “How is that a French cuff? Don’t you do that here? Roll your

met gala

Between architecture events that took place in the last week(some kind of a student festival with conferences, exhibitions etc), preparations for a handmade fair and...school I didn't exactly find time to upgrade my blog. The basic plan was to capture all that was happening at the events with my camera, show you how architure students dress but the project failed. I got distracted. But I'm showing you some other cool stuff, like the best dresses (in my opinion) at the Met Gala 2011. I also enjoyed Rihanna's look for the first time in my life and I've noticed a lot of celebrities were wearing Alexander McQueen.  Do you have favourites? Bye for now, R

Finding inspiration

...in celebrities's style: I love Heidi's Klum figure, looking a lot like a '70' it girl. She is wearing a Michael Kors jumpsuit. Flawless. Absolutely flawless. I'm beginning the hunt for the perfect white dress this summer. Gave me the impression that this style was created for her. The colour of the hair looks soooo tempting! SEE??? I told that matching shoes with bag it's a new trend. Minka Kelly wearing a Victoria Beckham dress. Some finds of mine while browsing through people.com. The list of fashion disasters(my opinion) is too long so let's just focus on the good. ♥ R

Top trends I don't like at the moment

1. Wearing two watches at the time . I said it before and I'm sticking with it. I don't get it and I hate pointless things. 2. Wearing fake glasses . It may be possible to dislike this even more than number1. This is so uncool that I don't even know how to say it. (especially if the frames are Ray Ban's style) 3. Green nailpolish . This is not that bad but it makes your hand look dirty. 4. See-through items . I just don't like them. 5. Calling a two year-old bag, vintage . It also applies to other so called vintage items. And don't think you're getting away with thrifted, it has a total other sense. If it's second-hand, call it this way. And if you didn't get embaressed when you bought it, don't be embarassed admitting it. 6. (too much)Messy hair . Don't get me wrong, I like messy hair but it has its limits, you know? It could be very sexy and natural, but when the limit is crossed, you risk looking like you just slept on the bench, in
